MHR performed a site and utility assessment, secured a zero-emission renewable energy credit (ZREC) agreement, developed a cost-benefit analysis of direct purchase vs. power purchase agreement (PPA) for the solar system, and advised on the implementation of a solar-ready roof.  Following installation of a new roof, MHR prepared and distributed a site-specific solar request for proposal (RFP) with a sample PPA, solicited competitive bids, negotiated the PPA with the prospective contractor and the Town’s Legal Counsel, and submitted the Interconnection Application with the utility company.  Upon acceptance of the RFP and subsequent PPA, MHR will oversee implementation and commissioning of the solar system.
