Mark Robbins
Mark Robbins, founder and President of MHR Development, has over 20 years of experience in sustainable development and clean energy projects – including land acquisition, design development, financing, and green building. He has expertise in architecture, construction, historic preservation, energy efficiency, and ecological best practices. Mark consulted for the Connecticut Green Bank – advancing adoption of property assessed clean energy financing (PACE). He established the Energy Committee for the Connecticut Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and served on its Board of Directors. Mark holds a BA in Economics from Columbia University, and an MS in Real Estate from Columbia School of Architecture.

Rachel Fossum
Rachel holds an MDes degree in Sustainable Design from Boston Architectural College and a BA in Geography from Central Connecticut State University. As an energy analyst, Rachel has experience with assessing energy consumption / usage, identifying energy efficiency opportunities, and quantifying projected cost savings. Rachel has experience with utility incentive / rebate applications, building energy benchmarking, and implementing renewable energy systems. She has led the day-to-day administrative operations, such as budget tracking, project coordination, and drafting building energy audits. Rachel has a passion for sustainable architecture, environmental protection / restoration, and weather preparedness / resiliency.
