Roof Replacement
MHR conducted an Energy Audit / Opportunity Assessment that included identifying energy and water conservation opportunities, IAQ upgrades, and occupant comfort measures. Measures explored include solar, CHP, HVAC controls upgrade, lighting and controls upgrade, propane to natural gas conversion, fuel cells, and energy storage.
MHR also managed the replacement of an end-of-life roof top unit (RTU) and the replacement of the roof over the Boy’s Locker Room and stairwell – the existing condition did not allow for one to be replaced without replacing the other. MHR’s plan will allow the YMCA to decouple RTU and roof replacement projects in the future.
